I might not have weaved this with yarn, but I was a happy artist indeed while I painted it! I love these colors and this design. It is a happy cloth indeed.

This painting was inspired by a beautiful North African wool rug. As such, I wanted this piece to have a tactile, weathered, woven feeling to it. The color palette is fiery and warm. There's also a touch of fluorescent pink and orange.
