“The Song Sings Itself” — Coming soon
“The Song Sings Itself” — Coming soon
Original art | 9“ x 11” | Acrylic on panel
Framed, wired and ready to hang.
"In summer, the song sings itself."
― William Carlos Williams, 20th century American poet and physician
This was the first painting I ever did with my non dominant hand — my left hand. I love to paint loose, and painting with the non-dominant hand can help with that. There’s less control over the brush, which can be quite freeing. I find it to be a workout for my brain. I enjoyed it so much that I continue doing left-handed paintings to this day — except for the signature, which I don’t have enough dexterity to do with my left-hand… yet.
